Eight actresses, including five moms and a mother-to-be, grace different covers of Ellle's November 2014 issue and are set to be honored at the magazine's 21st annual Women in Hollywood Awards.
According to E! News, actress Zoe Saldana, pregnant with twins, is one of the honorees. On her cover of Elle's newest issue, which will hit stores Oct. 14, the star shows off her baby bump in a black, feathered Lanvin mini halter dress and also strikes a side pose in a black, flowing Calvin Klein gown in another photo taken for the magazine.
The actress is expecting her first children with husband of one year Marco Perego. Saldana, born in New Jersey and who also grew up in the Dominican Republic, talked to Elle about her acting success, saying, "That's how those seven years my sisters and I spent on a bohemian island played very well. We're not American in terms of feeding into that machine that you have to be somebody. We were somebody the moment we were born."
Jennifer Garner, who shares three children with husband and Oscar winner Ben Affleck, appears on another Elle cover, wearing a Calvin Klein black jacket, white shirt and black tie. The actress talked about motherhood and balancing a career.
"My ambition shifted when I had kids in a way that I didn't anticipate," Garner said. "I became more ambitious for my life as a whole, and for that kind of health and happiness of the overall family unit. And that very much includes my husband and very much includes me. My husband is always the one saying to me, 'You have to work, you have to work. This is part of who you are. We'll figure it out.' That's powerful, when your partner has that serious mantra."
Garner recently responded to recent rumors that she was pregnant with her and Affleck's fourth child. She said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, regarding her "baby bump," "I am not pregnant, but I have had three kids and there is a bump. From now on ladies, I will have a bump. And it will be my baby bump. And let's just all settle in and get used to it. It's not going anywhere. I have a bump. Its name is Violet, Sam, Sera."
Other 2014 Women in Hollywood honorees include: Jessica Lange, Tina Fey, Elizabeth Banks, Annette Bening, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Brie Larson.
