It's nice to have someone in your corner, especially when you might feel like no else has your back. Amanda Bynes may feel like she doesn't have a friend in the world following her recent antics, but Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen is speaking out to let the trouble former actress know that she is rooting for her.
John Legend's girlfriend spoke to E! News during the Variety Power of Women event about Amanda and it turns out Teigen has been really affected by the whole situation.
"Amanda and I are the same age so I grew up watching her and really looking up to her," she explained. "And for me, to see this path that's happening and to watch it, is kind of really affecting me in way that I didn't think it would. It's weird to be in a situation where you can't help."
While the two stars have never actually met each other before, Teigen explains that she is keeping Amanda in her thoughts during this tough time.
"I obviously don't know her at all but I want to bring her back and I want to make her happy and healthy for some reason and she's not there and we can't do anything to help so it kind of sucks," Chrissy stated. "All we're doing is hurting it."
It looks like Bynes is getting the help that she needs, as according to RadarOnline reported, her psychiatric hold at the Las Encinas health facility has been extended from 72 hours to 14 days.
This is the second time within the last 14 months that Amanda was put on an involuntary psychiatric hold following her behavior. Her family is hoping that she can get the help she needs over the next two weeks.
