Foxcatcher, the upcoming film from director Bennett Miller, paints a devastating picture of hopes, dreams, glory and also real-life horror. This movie stars Steve Carell as the infamous John du Pont, taking a young wrestler, Mark Schultz, played by Channing Tatum under his wing and into Olympic training. Things go terribly wrong when du Pont realizes he can't control Mark, especially with his successful brother Dave (Mark Ruffalo). As we can see from the final trailer for the film that comes out before the Nov. 14 release date, du Pont breaks.

For those of you unfamiliar with this true story, we urge you to watch this trailer and see the film. The movie is already getting rave reviews, so we expect a great movie come November.

Here is the official synopsis of the film (via Slash Film):

FOXCATCHER tells the story of Olympic Gold Medal-winning wrestler Mark Schultz (Tatum), who sees a way out from the shadow of his more celebrated wrestling brother Dave (Ruffalo) and a life of poverty when he is summoned by eccentric multi-millionaire John du Pont (Carell) to move onto his estate and train for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Desperate to gain the respect of his disapproving mother, du Pont begins "coaching" a world-class athletic team and, in the process, lures Mark into dangerous habits, breaks his confidence and drives him into a self-destructive spiral.
