NeNe Leakes Gets Real On 'The Real' - Broadway Star Says, "People Can Say What They Want To Say, But My Name Is Going Up In Lights"

The hit morning show, The Real, got real on Wednesday, Oct. 15, as Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes made an appearance.

The only original peach left on the show, Leakes talked bout the upcoming season and how the show has helped her gain more opportunities, including Broadway and other network TV roles like Glee.

When asked what is one of the craziest rumors she has heard about herself, Leakes replied, "That I was fired from Housewives."

Tamar Braxton quickly commented, "Lies, that's a crazy one," as NeNe replied, "I am very much alive."

Braxton added that NeNe was the only original cast member of the hit Bravo TV show, as NeNe told the audience how she felt about that.

The Georgia peach said, "I love the show, it has opened up new opportunities for me, but I don't want to fight all the time."

NeNe says, "I am an open book, ask me anything." As The Real host's asked the reality star about her failed friendship with Cynthia Bailey.

When NeNe was asked if she and Cynthia had made up, the new Cinderalla star said, "No! We have not made up."

NeNe claims that some people want to be her, as Adrienne Bailon said "Fans think that the person is Kenya Moore."

When it comes to fashion, NeNe is no stranger to it. The diva has her own fashion line, NeNe Leakes Collection available on HSN.

When asked about taking the late Joan Rivers seat on Fashion Police Leakes said, "I love fashion, and I love Fashion Police, I love Joan, if that's where I'm supposed to go, than I'll go."

As for her new role on Broadway, Leakes said, "People don't want to see you grow, I'm so blessed to be going to Broadway, and so happy to have to something so prestigious on my resume." She added, "People can say what they want to say, but my name is going up in lights."
