Sitting down this week for an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, actor Shia LaBeouf spoke about his upcoming movie Fury, which has a release date set for this weekend. In the revealing interview (which also touched on his violent and strange behavior that has been well-documented by tabloids recently) Shia talks about punching and getting into fistfights with the cast members of the film and how he even punched Brad Pitt in the face. He said this helped bond the two!

When talking about working with Pitt, Shia explained how during some scenes featuring squad fistfights, nobody wanted to hit the movie star too hard.

"We were all vying for his attention and we all wanted him to like us, so none of us wanted to be the guy to hit him really hard," he explained. "It worked. It bonded us. There's only so much you can get out in a conversation. With a bunch of boys in that kind of setting, fighting is really intimate."

When Jimmy asked if the actors ever got mad at each other for hitting too hard in the scenes, LaBeouf explained, "no, we love each other!"
