'Pretty Little Liars' Shay Mitchell Shares Exclusive Beauty Tips [PHOTO]

The stars of the teen mystery-thriller Pretty Little Liars know a thing or two about what makes the "pretty" in the ABC hit really stick. PLL star Shay Mitchell shares with Us Weekly about her makeup routine and what she does to keep her skin and makeup looking flawless.

"Because I wear so much makeup, especially lipstick, on the show, my lips are always chapped," Mitchell reveals to the magazine. "So when I come home, it's nice to take all of that off and go back to basics. I put on Carmex before I got to sleep, and when I wake up, I'm all set to go. There's nothing worse than chapped lips!"

The Carmex plug isn't random as Mitchell is the new face of Carmex MoisturePlus lip balm.

The brunette beauty resides from Ontario, Canada and is of Filipino deceent from her mother's side and Irish/Scottish from her father. The actress is no stranger to keeping her face as flawless as possible seeing that she started her entertainment career modeling around the world in cities such as Bangkok, Hong Kong and Barcelona.

Traveling is a big part of her career, like most actresses, so how does she keep up her striking good looks? 

"I always travel with coconut oil. I use it on my hair, or as a cleanser. It's a secret my mom taught me," Mitchell shared. "She always used it growing up in the Philippines, and she still has amazing, beautiful hair, so she must have done something right!"
