American Horror Story has pretty much covered it all when it comes to broadcasting things that get people scared. Whether it's ghosts, or witches, or even clowns, the show has touched on some of the spookiest things that go bump in the night. However, creator Ryan Murphy might want to ask some of his cast members what their biggest fears were as a child should he run out of ideas for season five.
E! News's Kristin Dos Santos spoke with some of the cast at the American Horror Story: Freak Show premiere, including Michael Chiklis, Wes Bentley and Gabourey Sidibe to find out what really use to make them spooked.
Michael Chiklis might play the strongman on this season of AHS, but he says that when it came to watching the second season of Horror Story, he couldn't do it.
"I couldn't watch Asylum, because madness terrifies me. Clowns are an issue as well, especially clowns with knives," the star says, joking about the villain of this season.
Bentley's fear might have been a little more childlike, but how he coped with it could possibly be something straight out of the FX series.
"When I was a kid I sort of would create things out of the darkness like we always did in the room, the shadows," he explained, adding "I was more paranoid about what could break into the house, I used to be walk around the house with a fire poker."
However, we think that Gabourey Sidibe's fear might just be our favorite.
"This is really, really ridiculous," the star prefaced. "I used to be afraid of certain songs. I know that's so nutty. I used to be afraid of the song 'Killing Me Softly,' the Roberta Flack song I know that that's weird."
She also explains that she was scared of "Fur Elise," as well as the Inspector Gadget theme song, explaining "my whole body goes cold I hate it," when listening to them.
