The 2014 MLB regular season is officially over. Now, only two teams are left in the NLCS and will compete for a spot in the highly-anticipated World Series!
The St. Louis Cardinals battle the San Francisco Giants in pivatol Game 5 of the NLCS (National League Championship Series) on Thursday, October 16th at 8:07 p.m. EST at AT&T Park in California. Wrapping-up the 2014 regular season, the Cardinals snagged the No. 6 spot in ESPN.com's official MLB power rankings with a 90-72 winning record:

Meanwhile, the Giants ended at the No. 8 spot with a 88-74 winning record (out of 32 total teams):

The Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals recently competed in the ALCS... the Royals won the series on Wednesday and will move-on to the World Series.
