What do you do when your baseball team makes it to the World Series? Throw a kegger at you mom's house, duh! Last night the Kansas City Royals took one step towards taking home the World Series title in baseball as they beat out the Baltimore Orioles to give them a spot in the baseball finals. Actor and Kansas City native Paul Rudd, who was at the game last night, couldn't be happier about the win, as he told everyone from the stadium to come over to his mom's house for a keg party to celebrate.
According to E! News, Rudd was present at the game to witness the first time that the team has made it to the World Series in 29 years. The star, who attended the University of Kansas, was in town to root on his team and KMBC 9 News caught up with the Ant-Man star to ask him about his team's win.
"This is amazing," the actor said to the news outlet. "The entire town feels it. When we went on that win streak this summer, I thought this could legitimately happen."
He then goes on to extend an invitation to everyone in town to come to his mom's for a party.
"Party at my mom's house man! She's out of town," Rudd jokingly says. "I've got a keg. It's going to be sweet. Five dollar cover."
We can't imagine the kind of party that Rudd is going to throw should the Royal win the World Series, but we hope that we are invited.
