Bethenny Frankel may have cut ties with her mother on her own accord more than a decade ago, but the former Real Housewives of New York star's mom is speaking out today saying that when it comes down to it she doubts her and her daughter will every speak again.
Bethenny's mom, Bernadeette Birk, spoke out to RadarOnline in an interview saying that she "will never speak to her" again following the lies that she believes were spread about her in the Frankel's 2011 book The Place of Yes.
"Bethenny spread vicious and horrible lies about me simply for publicity," Birk told the news site. "Her ratings were down and they soared!"
In the book Frankel talks about her life living with her mother, and how her childhood was riddled with issues from eating disorders, mental illness, violence, and alcoholism at the hands of her family. However, Birk has spoken out, saying that everything published in the book were lies for Bethenny to get ratings.
While Bernadette says that she kept the door open for her daughter to come back, she reveals that after the book was published that the door has been closed forever.
"I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and I always left the door open for her," the reality star's mom explains. "But she destroyed and it and that door is shut forever!"
The Inquisitr is also reporting on the feud between mother and daughter, claiming that in the past Birk has come after the RHONY star, saying that she was actually the one who invented the Skinny Girl recipe and that Bethenny had stolen it from her.
The site is also reporting that Birk might be trying to sell stories about her daughter to get some money, now that she knows Frankel is being considered for a return to The Real Housewives of New York.
