The English Premier League defending champions are going up against the Tottenham Hotspurs, a team that has let other top teams thrash them so far this season. "I am sure it is a different Tottenham," Pellegrini said. "Last year one of the best games that we played was against Tottenham away. Here also we played very well but we are not expecting that we can score six or five goals every time we play Tottenham. They are a very strong team. Mauricio Pochettino is a very good manager. I'm not saying (Andre) Villas-Boas wasn't in that moment, but really we played our best last season. We hope on Saturday we can do a very good game also."
So it looks like the Manchester City coach is a bit wary of his team's chances of thrashing Tottenham. What do you think?
Meanwhile, Tottenham's goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, is worried about his team's performance lately.
"We have to show more character," he said. "It will be difficult to do worse next season, especially against the top four or five teams. We sometimes had the feeling that we gave up this season. We can't allow this kind of behavior."
