With The Flash currently underway on the CW network, anticipation is rising high for the Arrow crossover episode. But before that event happens, how will Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards)'s guest appearance turn the DC Comics superhero both "real and dark?"

In our previous recap, we witnessed the origin story of how Barry (Grant Gustin) ended up with his super-speed powers. Due to a particle accelerator explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs, lightning struck Barry and threw him into a cabinet of chemicals. Not only did Barry end up with powers, half of the civilian population of Central City became metahumans.

According to E! Online, there will be an awkward double-date happening in the fourth episode, entitled "Going Rogue." As we previously mentioned, Barry has had a longtime crush with Iris West (Candice Patton). With his feelings unrequited, Barry deals with detective Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett)romancing the love of his life. With Felicity (Rickards) showing up, will past feelings suddenly disappear?

Cosnett reveals what happens during the double-date, "That interaction is quite hilarious. That's the great thing about The Flash, that it does have very comedic elements to it. We keep it light while still keeping it epic and real and dark. So that's going to be a great episode to see Felicity and how we all interact with her."

As we previously mentioned, this episode also marks the appearance of Captain Cold (played by Wentworth Miller). Will Captain Cold's freeze ray cut Date Night short?

We will have to wait and see. In our recent recap, the super villain, Multiplex, was too much too handle for The Flash at first. How will the scarlet speedster's clash with Captain Cold be different?

The Flash continues on the CW Tuesdays at 8pm. Readers are you excited to seed for Felicity Smoak's guest turn?
