The football world is in shock today, with three news stories breaking, stunning everyone. Celtic goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska has been attacked on a night out, while Peter Biasksangzuala, an Indian Mizoram Premier League player has died while celebrating a goal and a Manchester City or Tottenham (unknown as to which team he supports) fan has been arrested for flying a drone over their English Premier League match this weekend.
Zaluska was on a night out in Glasgow, when the 32-year-old was attacked, leaving him with head injuries. The Scottish police insisted, "Police Scotland are investigating a report of an alleged assault on a 32-year-old male in Ashton Lane in the early hours of Monday. Police inquiries are ongoing, including the monitoring of CCTV."
It's believed the second-choice shot-stopper will be okay, but is recovering from the shock.
Biasksangzuala scored an important MPL goal for Bethlehem Vengthlang FC, and he decided to do a somersault celebration, however, it ended very badly, with the player falling on his head and losing his life. Tributes have been pouring in from around the world for the forward.
Elsewhere, a football fan has shamed the sport by flying a drone over the stadium of Manchester City's EPL match. The 41-year-old fan has been arrested, and has since been released on bail. The danger to the crowd was cited as a key reason for his arrest.
While everyone is coming to terms with this weekends results, it's easy to forget there's so much more important than the game itself.
