Supermodel Cara Delevingne and musician Pharrell Williams have reportedly been making music together in an attempt to launch Delevingne's music career. According to Telegraph, the fruits of their labor could drop any day now, as the pair is said to have spent the last week in Paris filming the video to go with Delevingne's debut single.
The 22-year-old model has previously shared that she would like to pursue singing and acting over modeling. Her acting career is likely to flourish soon with having landed the female lead in the big screen adaptation of John Green's novel, Paper Towns.
Pharrell had previously opened up about Cara's potential during an interview with Capital FM in February. "I think what people should probably focus in on, versus these specific projects, is on her, her spirit. And what she's up to next. Trust me. Because the films only get better, the parts only get bigger, the music only gets better, the modeling only gets better. But the spirit is becoming refined. She's becoming refined, so it's another chapter in her life."
According to Entertainment Wise, it seems like Pharrell may be up against Kanye West to bag the role as Cara's music mentor. An insider told The Daily Star: "Kanye would love to be Cara's mentor. He thinks she has a great voice and presence, and could be the next Iggy Azalea or Rita Ora. Kanye's written some songs that would be perfect for Cara. He's been talking to her about working on some music at his favorite recording studio in Paris. Kanye wants to collaborate on a song with Cara to help launch her, and then let her go off and do her own thing."
No matter which route the young supermodel/singer takes, it seems Cara is going straight to the top.
