Victoria Beckham Spice Girls Name: The Origin of "Posh" [PHOTOS]

Victoria Beckham, also known as "Posh" Spice in the Spice Girls always has people talking about her.  From her beautifully toned body to her hunkie soccer star husband David Beckham and cute as a button children, Beckham is always making headlines.

Beckham reunited with the Spice Girls for an impressive performance on the 2012 London Olympics stage.  The Spice Girls is an all-female pop band that was extremely popular in the late 1990s.  Since the band split, Beckham was the most covered girl of the group as an international fashion icon.  

The nicknames for each girl in the group were created by the media.  They rose to fame with the song "Wannabe" which hit No. 1 in the UK, US, and worldwide.  

"Posh Spice" is a perfect nickname for the fashion designer who has her own clothing lines including high end designer to normal everyday wear.  

Beckham recently admitted that she thinks her musical talent is mediocre in Interview Germany's June/July issue.

"Was my actual talent music? I don't think so. With the other Spice Girls it worked out quite well but my vocals still seem strange to me," she said.
