'Chrisley Knows Best' Renewed For Season 3- Plus USA Reality Series Getting Holiday Special

Everyone's favorite USA reality family is about to serve up some more laughs as series Chrisley Knows Best has just been renewed for a third season. The series features Todd Chrisley and his family, including his wife, his five kids, and two grandchildren, as they live their daily lives in Suwanee, Georgia just outside of Atlanta. The half-hour comedy series premiered in March 2014 and has been a ratings hit ever since.

According to Deadline, it was just announced that the series would be back for a third season with a 12-episode order. On top of that news, fans of the series will be happy to know that a holiday themed episode has also been ordered and will air this coming December.

The second season of the show just debuted on the network and was viewed by 2.3 million viewers, which is a 76 percent increase when compared to the season 1 opener. According to The Wrap, the combined audience for the season two debut was 7 million viewers with 1.3 million in the key demographic of 18-49 year olds.

In a statement, USA president Chris McCumbers said the fans love Todd and his family for their standout comedy, and he was happy to welcome them back for a brand new season.

"Viewers have embraced the Chrisley's for their witty one-liners, laugh-out-loud moments and heartfelt everyday situations," he explained. "This family has made an indelible imprint on pop culture, and we're excited to continue the entertaining journey with them in season three."

The second season of the series is currently airing on Tuesdays at 10 pm on USA.
