It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Detroit Red Wings battle it out on the ice against the Montreal Canadiens in Week 2 of the regular season on Tuesday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m. EST at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. Following Opening Week of the 2014 regular season, the Red Wings snag the No. 12 spot in ESPN.com's NHL power rank round-up with a 3-1-1 record:
"The Wings' offense is still hit-and-miss (11 goals in five games, four of those Friday against Toronto), but defense and goaltending have been outstanding."
Meanwhile, the Canadiens currently hold the highly-coveted no. 2 spot (out of 30 total teams) with an impressive 5-1-0 record
"Apart from one stinker against Tampa, the Canadiens have been terrific in rolling to a 5-1 record, including a 3-1 record on the road."
