Justin Bieber vs. Selena Gomez Back Together: Pink Warns Songstress To 'Ditch' Ex-Boyfriend With Ellen DeGeneres, Good 'Admirable' Music Idol Advice?

Both Selena Gomez and Pink will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week. And while chatting backstage, the "So What" songstress offered some advice to the younger pop starlet...

Ditch Justin Bieber - for good.

Gomez definitely looks-up to the independently successful and powerfully confident singer - but will her 22-year-old aching heart actually listen?

An alleged insider tells Dish Nation:

"Selena admires Pink for everything she's accomplished and her insanely successful career. She's also not oblivious to the fact that Pink and her husband Carey [Hart] broke up for a while before eventually reconciling and having a baby together."

So... does that mean there's a chance for her romance with the Biebs to eventually work-out?

According to Pink, no. But she let the "Come & Get It" beauty know so in the kindest way possible, of course!

"Selena and Justin have been on and off for like four years, so she felt like Pink would understand their love - but she wasn't exactly supportive and basically told Selena she should end it with Bieber once and for all and just focus on herself."

Gomez was apparently "stoked" to meet one of her musicial idols, so hopefully this didn't put a damper on the introduction.

The source continues, "Selena took the talk with Pink to heart. She really respects her and Pink basically reiterated what most people in Selena's circle have been suggesting... Pink didn't even have to say it. Selena knew what she was getting at. And aside from the Bieber stuff, Pink gave Selena some really solid career advice."

First Taylor Swift, and now Pink? Maybe Gomez should take the advice to heart...

Maybe the "Funhouse" rebel finally got through to Gomez. While chatting with DeGeneres, the "Spring Breaker"s actress said:

"I feel like I have been doing this so long I think that people tend to forget that...they're all like, 'Be yourself, be yourself,' and I'm still trying to figure out who that is... I know I'm not perfect, but I know I have a lot of people that support me and love me. I don't want to let anyone down, so I try to be the best I can be, and it's awkward being 20, in our 20′s."
