Taylor Swift's comeback is in full force. The 24-year-old singer is gearing up to release her fifth studio album 1989 and she has been previewing the project little by little to get her fans even more excited then they already are for it. The singer released her first single "Shake It Off" in August and then premiered the new song, "Out of the Woods," earlier last week. But it might have been the debut of her new song, "Welcome To New York," that sent the Twitterverse into overload.
We previewed the song yesterday with a 30-second clip, but Swift debuted the full track last night on iTunes. Very cleverly, the star only made the track available at first if you pre-ordered her new album.
The track was then released as a digital track late last night and quickly rose to No. 1 on the iTunes charts.
Her fans couldn't help but fall in love with the song, which we aren't surprised about, and they took to their Twitters to proclaim their love for it:
