Brantley Gilbert Engaged- "More Than Miles" Star Proposed To Muse Who Inspired His Country Song

Another country star is getting married. It seems like every other day there is a proposal happening in the country world. First, we had Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line proposing to his girlfriend and now we are hearing that Brantley Gilbert is about to be a married man. The "You Don't Know Her Like I Do" singer revealed that he popped the question to his girlfriend.

According to E! News, the country star announced the news on The Bobby Bones Show earlier today. Gilbert says that his soon-to-be wife is actually his muse, and she inspired his hit single "More Than Miles."

Brantley has been pining for the leading lady in his life for more than a decade. He also admitted to the show that he wrote his hit single "You Don't Know Her Like I Do," about his now fiancée as well.

It seems that the couple has a happy ending as Pop Sugar is reporting that he called her "the one who got away."

"She was the one who got away fro about five years, then kind of came back around, and I can honestly say I've never been happier," the singer said. "She's the one."

When asked to give some details about their upcoming nuptials, Gilbert revealed that they are hoping to get married this summer.

"We're looking towards the end of June," the country star explained. "She's a hometown girl. I'm pretty excited, to say the least."

Brantley was engaged to fellow country singer Jana Kramer back in January of 2013, but the two called it quits before tying the knot.
