Jessica Sanchez 'American Idol' Tour Break, Recording in Studio

Jessica Sanchez is hard at work in the studio preparing for hew new debut album this year.  The American Idol season 11 runner up has been busy touring the country with her Idol family and boyfriend DeAndre Brackensick and is using her free time to work on new music.

It has been raining all day yet Sanchez's joy to work on new music didn't let the rain bring her mood down.

She tweeted on Monday August 13, 2012, "Rain makes me happy when I'm having these kinda days"

"Recording Today. So Ready. #emotionalpour," she added.

The Filipina-Mexican-American is learning about the professional equipment required for recording, especially miss.

"Ha, it's a whole 'bother art," she said.

As she mentioned in previous interviews, Sanchez will be focusing on Urban and R&B that truly represents her.  Her dream collaboration would be with Eminem however she doesn't expect to have any collaborations on her first album just yet.  Who knows?

That might change as plans continue to progress!
