Never in a million years did we think that two of our favorite things in the world would collide, but that's just what's going to happen in the newest episode of American Horror Story. Jessica Lange will be channeling her inner Lana Del Rey as her character on Freak Show, Elsa Mars, will belt out a spooky rendition of Rey's song "Gods & Monster."
Creator Ryan Murphy took to his Twitter earlier this month to hint that Lange's character would be covering one of Lana's tracks, and we were desperately hoping it was going to be this one.
When a fan on the social media site told Murphy she couldn't watch the new season because she was too scared of the clown, he told her to stick around or she'd be missing out on Lange's performance:
"Tina, don't be afraid! The clown is scary, true, But don't you wanna see Jessica Lange sing a Lana Del Rey song?"
As some of you might recall in our article from Oct. 7, we wrote, "No news yet on which song of Rey's Lange will decide to sing, but we are personally hoping for 'Gods & Monsters.' We think that would fit in well with the freak show theme."
Well, it looks like we were right.
And to top of this amazing news, a sneak peek of Jessica's cover of the song was just posted on Instagram, so die-hard fans like us can watch it over and over until tonight's episode.
