Get ready for more things that go bump in the night. We've just learned that Sleepy Hollow is about to get two veteran supernatural TV actors for Season 2. The Fox series has just recruited Michelle Trachtenberg and Max Brown to guest star on the Monday night sci-fi show.
According to TV Line, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress will take on the role of one of the U.S. Founding Mothers, as she will play the part of first lady Abigail Adams.
Entertainment Weekly is also confirming the news, saying that while she'll play the wife of the second president, John Adams, this first lady may have had a few secrets during her time in office. According to the site, viewers will see Abigail aligning herself with Katrina Crane's coven in order to protect the U.S. from "evil forces."
Max, on the other hand, might have starred on The CW's Beauty and the Beast, but his role in Sleepy Hollow is a little more secretive. The few details we've learned are that his character, Orion, will be playing an ally to leading cast members Crane and Abbie.
But while we don't know much about him, the few details we do know are pretty interesting. The site's reporting that when fans meet Orion, they'll see that he carried a powerful weapon with him that could be a huge game changer in the war against evil.
Both Max's and Michelle's episodes will begin airing this January, when the series returns after a brief winter break.
Sleepy Hollow is currently airing its second season Monday nights at 9 p.m.
