It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Chicago Blackhawks battle it out on the ice against the Nashville Predators in Week 2 of the NHL regualr season on Thursday, October 23 at 8:00 p.m. EST at Tennessee's Bridgestone Arena. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Thursday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Kicking-off the 2014 regular season, the Blackhawks snag the No. 5 spot in Scott Burnside's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with a 4-0-1 winning record:
"Nothing flashy yet in Chicago, just seven of a possible eight points to start the season."
Meanwhile, the Predators currently hold the No. 8 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 4-0-2 record:
"Despite having a new head coach in Peter Laviolette, the Preds are still doing it the Preds way: with goaltending and defense. They've scored just 12 goals but the 3-0-2 Preds have allowed only eight and are still undefeated in regulation."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSTN and CSNC, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WGN, WBUZ, and WNSR.
