'Dancing With The Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Meryl Davis Back Together! We Have The Details On Where The 'DWTS' Couple Is Getting Hot And Heavy

Dancing with the Stars pair Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis are back together again, but not in the way you're thinking!

The DWTS couple heated up TV screens earlier this year when they danced their way to winning the Mirrorball trophy on the hit ABC show.

"Meryl and I are going to reproduce a couple of our routines and give people a little Maks and Meryl magic — even if it's just for a day," Maks told People.

Fans can catch the pair together at the dance spectacular SWAY: A Dance Trilogy in Westbury, New York, Dec. 17.

Maks will not be the only Dancing with the Stars pro there. He'll be joined by his brother Val Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani, Peta Murgatroyd and a few additional members of his fellow DWTS pros. Even Dancing alum Zendaya will make a repeat appearance after also performing in the first show in July.

"I think audiences are going to be very happy to see Meryl back on the stage," the heartthrob said. "She has never done anything like this and is very excited about the opportunity. We are happy to have her with us this time, and to have Zendaya back again."

Maks and the Olympic gold medalist's relationship on the dance floor was so intense viewers were hoping the two were a couple off screen. Maks, however, refutes any romance talk.

"We aren't dating, and I don't think we will," he continued. "She is very special. I care very deeply for Meryl. Our friendship is where it will be for many years. She is awesome to spend time with."

Another couple from this season's show also looked hot and heavy. Rumors have swirled that Pretty Little Liars star Janel Parrish broke up with her boyfriend to be with her ballroom partner Val. Maks said there are similarities between his time with Meryl and Val's time with Janel.

"He is similar to me," according to People. "She calms him down. She makes sure she doesn't react to things or get thrown by them."

But he becomes coy when asked how close Val and Janel are, saying, "That's going to be their call — their thing to talk about."
