Camouflaj's stealth/action videogame, République, is officially available on the App Store for Google Play and Amazon. Landing on iOS and Android devices, gamers will be able to get their hands on Episode 3, 'Ones & Zeroes.'
According to its plot synopsis, the gamer receives a call from Hope, a woman trapped inside a mysterious totalitarian state. By hacking into the nation's elaborate surveillance network and taking control, players guide Hope through a web of danger and deception across five exciting episodes.
In an interview with Eurogamer, former Halo 4 creative director and Metal Gear Solid 4 producer Ryan Payton describes the third installment, Ones & Zeroes, as "the longest episode yet, clocking in at over three hours for most players. Not only is EP3 our most content heavy episode to date, I'm really proud how our new features retroactively enhance previous episodes."
As the narrative continues, the player seeks the help of an unlikely ally, Mattie Sade, the editor-in-chief of the surveillance state's newspaper, to rescue Hope. The player has to build a case against Hope's captors using Mattie's access to a secret network that reaches far beyond the walls of Metamorphosis. Equal parts combat and puzzle-solving, episode three is sure to expand the universe of République with revelations on the Overseer's chilling plans.
Players will have strategic new weapon, plus a new puzzle to solve, along with enhanced OMNI abilities. A video documentary is also included, which provides a behind-the-scenes look at the development of Episode 3.
In its review, Pocketgamer describes the first installment of Republique as "a strong debut for an interesting stealth saga."
