Fortune Feimster, Tina Fey: ‘Chelsea Lately’ Comedian Teaming With ’30 Rock’ Star For ABC Comedy [VIDEO]

Tina Fey has had a longstanding history with NBC, but it seems she's now ready to branch out... with comedian Fortune Feimster! The stand up, who has appeared on Chelsea Lately and is currently a recurring character on FOX's Mulaney, has just signed on to star in a comedy series from the 30 Rock star alongside producers Matt Hubbard and Robert Carlock.

The show will be a semi-autobiographical comedy based on Feimster's life growing up in North Carolina, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Hubbard is set to write the script, with Feimster to star. The two will also executive produce the project with Carlock and the former Saturday Night Live star and head writer. David Miner of 3 Arts Entertainment will also exec produce the series.

The unnamed ABC comedy will reunite Tina Fey with her former 30 Rock cohorts, Carlock and Hubbard, who worked with her throughout the entirety of the Emmy Award-winning NBC series.

In other news, Fey has signed on to produce and star in the black political comedy, Taliban Shuffle, based on journalist Kim Barker's book of the same name. Alongside SNL creator Lorne Michaels, MStarsNews has reported that they are in talks to sign on Wolf of Wall Street star Margot Robbie.
