Orlando Bloom Denies Selena Gomez Dating Rumors

Orlando Bloom was asked by photographers Wednesday evening, Oct. 22, about the rumors of the actor dating 22-year-old Selena Gomez. When the 37-year-old actor was asked about the rumors that have been circulating between him and Gomez, his response was, "No man, we were just attending We Day together," TMZ reported. "You heard of We Day? You should check it out."

As MStars News reported, Gomez gave a powerful speech at the youth empowerment event We Day Vancouver Oct. 22. The starlet spoke to the audience about being judged and her thoughts on the cyberbullying epidemic.

Photographers continued to ask Bloom if the relationship rumors were true.

"So not true then?" the photographer asked.

"No," Bloom responded before heading into a car.

Rumors have been fueled by media outlets like Entertainment Tonight online recently as the two were seen catching a late flight out of LAX Airport Monday night, Oct. 20.

Bloom and Gomez started a friendship while attending a We Day conference in Los Angeles in March.

As TMZ reported in late July regarding a photo of Bloom and Gomez at Chelsea Handler's show in Los Angeles, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies actor was just taking a smoke break while the photo was snapped. Both parties were with their respective group of friends. The photo was nothing more than a coincidence.

Bloom has a son named Flynn, 2, with former wife and supermodel Miranda Kerr. In 2013, after nearly three years of marriage, the couple announced they had separated.

Gomez is no stranger to famous relationships either, as the Wizards of Waverly Place actress has had one of the most famous relationships in teen history with singer Justin Bieber.
