Fergie chatted about one-year-old son Axl and her part ownership in the NFL team Miami Dolphins on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (October 23).

"I just had this thing called a kid," she joked, regarding being too busy with motherhood to put out new music.

"His dad brings him in during my dance rehearsals, you know for the video and he always brings Axl in and Axl will start doing this [Fergie starts dancing] ... my version of what I think is 'turning up.'"

Ellen asks the "Fergalicious" singer about her part ownership of the NFL team Miami Dolphins and her husband Josh Duhamel's hardcore love for the Vikings. "So what's gonna happen with Axl?"

"I don't know," Fergie replied. "I don't know and I guess we'll just kind of put the jerseys there and let him choose. And I'll kind of put a $100 bill under Miami."

Fergie has joined the roster of other celebrity NFL Miami Dolphins investors like Jennifer Lopez's ex, Marc Anthony, tennis stars Venus and Serena William, Jimmy Buffett and Emilio and Gloria Estefan.

Along with being a part owner of the team, Fergie and other celebrity investors have agreed to make appearances at the stadium during games as part of the Ross's effort to attract more diverse crowds.

As Mstars previously reported, Duhamel was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this month gushing about his son. "I'll take him to the pool with me and we have swimming lessons, but when you have the water rushing up at you it's a little bit different. He freaked out a little but he's fine."
