After getting caught inside a shrinking TARDIS last week while Clara dealt with the "boneless" on her own in season 8's "Flatline," The Doctor returns this weekend in the new Doctor Who episode "In the Forest of the Night." Examining the preview photos and videos that premiered throughout the week, we get a hint of the episode, with some imagery looking like a fairy tale adventure. Let's take a look at these clips and images below to see if we can spot some spoilers!

Check out our previous coverage of "In the Forest of the Night" writer Frank Cottrell-Boyce comparing Doctor Who and Sherlock, in regards to Capaldi's approach to the character RIGHT HERE!

According to BBC America, this new episode takes its title from William Blake's poem "The Tyger" and features a young girl in a red riding hood - conveniently. Apparently, a forest has appeared in London when the Doctor takes some of Clara and Danny's students on a field trip of sorts.

Let's take a look at the synopsis of this week's episode right here:

One morning, in every city and town in the world, the human race wakes up to face the most surprising invasion yet. Everywhere, in every land, a forest has grown overnight and taken back the Earth. It doesn't take the Doctor long to discover that the final days of humanity have arrived...

It's always a bad sign when an ellipsis comes into play! Let's take a look at some preview clips and images right here:
