It's that time of year again! Halloween's in the air and trick-or-treaters are gearing up for candy-filled bags! To get you in the sprit, the networks are amping up their airtime with classic movies and marathons like The Simpsons and The Exorcist.
Sitcoms
ABC will offer its regularly scheduled programs — The Middle, The Goldbergs, Modern Family and Black-ish — which will feature Halloween-themed episodes.
NBC's set to air Halloween episodes of Marry Me and About a Boy Tuesday, Oct. 28, and A to Z Thursday, Oct. 30.
FX is even airing a special Halloween-themed episode of American Horror Story: Freak Show Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 10 p.m.
Morning Talk Shows
Even morning talk shows like Live! with Kelly & Michael will air the 2014 edition of its Halloween show, where the hosts spoof today's hottest pop culture icons, like Mad Men and The Walking Dead, by changing into different costumes. The hour-long show will cameo more than 30 celebrities, including Hugh Jackman, Emma Stone, Kerry Washington, Sofia Vergara and Tina Fey. A lucky audience member will even win a $10,000 grand prize for the best Halloween costume.
Animation For the softer and less scary Halloween adventurers, you're in luck! The classic It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown will air on ABC for a one-hour special Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. The Simpsons will be featuring 24 different scary episodes of the famous family Sunday, Oct. 26, from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. on FXX. Horror Lovers There's something for everyone this Halloween fright week. One of the scariest movies ever, The Exorcist will air on IFC Oct. 28 at 9 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. AMC is currently offering a "Fear Fest" up to Friday, Oct. 31. Movies will include Friday the 13th, Lake Placid, Halloween and many more.
