Friday, America witnessed yet another school shooting and this time it involved Jaylen Fryberg. On Friday, Oct. 24 Fryberg entered his high school's cafeteria where he shot 5 students, leaving one of them dead, before killing himself.

Fryberg, who was just crowned Freshman Homecoming Prince targeted two of his best friends, which also were his family members. "All three of the boys, they're like triplets. They were inseparable," Paula Hatch Satiacum described the boys relationship. Satiacum's nephew Nathan Hatch was shot by the shooter.

Hatch, 15, is currently listed in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center, according to PEOPLE. Another student, 14-year-old Andrew Fryberg, was listed under critical condition at the same location.

Details to why Jaylen opened fire on his friends and family is still unclear, but ABC reports that it was an suspected fight, and disagreement over a girl, as his Twitter account backs that story.

One of Jaylen's cousin's revealed that Jaylen was emotional over a girl who apparently broke his heart. She wrote, "over a girl he was heartbroken and didn't know what to do Jaylen wasn't a bad kid he just made a mistake.."

The deceased student has not been identified just yet, but sources have reported it was a female. Shaylee "Shay" Chuckulnaskit and Gia Soriano, are both 14 years old and are currently listed in critical condition at Providence Everett Medical Center.

Jaylen and his cousins lived closed to each on the Tulalip Indian Reservation in Washington, close to the city of Seattle.

"They do everything together, whether it's cultural, sports or home activities," Satiacum revealed. "They're friends – best friends and cousins."

Satiacum, just like others were in shock after the shooting happened last week, as the family's community is in disbelief.

"It's very hard at the moment," Satiacum shared. "We have two in Seattle and we lost our cousin Jaylen. Our community is going house to hospital and hospital to house."
