Much of the world has been smitten over the current World Series games between the San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Royals. During Game 5 of the series, which was held at the Giants home stadium, the team invited some special guests on the field to throw out the first pitch: Robin Williams' children Zak, Zelda and Cody Williams. Along with Williams' kin, another famed name joined them near the mound: fellow comic and friend of Williams, Billy Crystal.
A longtime San Francisco Giants fan, the late actor – who passed away back on Aug. 11 of this year of apparent suicide – was an immense fan of the game and the team. Before his children took to the mound just last night (Sunday, Oct 26), a video tribute occurred which showed some of Williams' best roles over the years.
Following that, the comedian's longtime friend and collaborator Billy Crystal took to home base to act as the catcher. Check out the tribute video and the pitch below:
So, how was the pitch? It was good!
For The Win (via USA Today) reports Williams was a loyal Giants fan, who himself helped introduce a game some time ago, shouting, "Good Evening, San Francisco!" before calling out the team –– referencing his famed line "Good Morning, Vietnam!" from the 1987 film of the same name.
Williams' family released a statement about their appearance, which was posted on the San Francisco Giants' Twitter page.

And for the record, the San Francisco Giant won the game 5-0.
