Cara Delevingne Instagram PHOTO: Harley Quinn Costume Sparks 'Suicide Squad' Rumors! [WATCH]

After making themselves known on CW's Arrow, Warner Bros. aims to make a DC Comics movie based on the Task Force X. Possibly because of an Instagram snapshot, rumors have sparked that the Burberry model, Cara Delevingne, is up for the Harley Quinn role in the Suicide Squad movie.

As we mentioned before, when the government has a mission too hot for the superheroes to handle, they send in the bad guys to take care of business. In a plot reminiscent of The Dirty Dozen, If the Suicide Squad team - which includes the captured band of super-villains Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and more - survives their deadly mission, their prison sentence will be reduced. In the mythology, the team is run by government agent, Amanda Waller, who has earned the nickname "The Wall" by her associates.

The English model posted up an Instagram picture of herself drawn as The Joker's former love interest. Much like the costume seen in The Batman: Animated Series, the socialite is seen chomping down on a lollipop shaped like the clown prince of crime's face.

Delevingne states, "Dress up time!"

According to Latino Review's anonymous sources, they got tipped off that Warners is seriously looking into the 22 year old singer for a villainous female role in the film. At press time, they're unsure if Harley will actually appear in the flick because she hasn't appeared in earlier drafts.

Maybe the blonde beauty is in talks for a part, especially since she will be seen in a small role in both at Pan and Anna Karenina. We are close to Halloween, which could mean maybe the photo was just a tease of her costume.

For the cartoon series, Paul Dini created a female sidekick for the Joker based on Arleen Sorkin, a former star of the soap opera Days Of Our Lives. In a dream sequence, Sorkin she wore a jester costume.
