During a special presentation in Hollywood, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige made an epic announcement unveiling a list of upcoming superhero flicks. Moviegoers should get ready for Chadwick Boseman starring as the Marvel superhero, Black Panther.

As we mentioned before, Chris Evans (Captain America) and Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) were on hand to announce their co-star as the next Marvel superhero. Black Panther (Boseman) will be involved in Captain America: Civil War, before starring in his own solo movie scheduled for November 3, 2017. To continue the excitement, which started over on Twitter, here are 5 reasons why Chadwick Bosemen is perfect as Black Panther.

5) Marvel Knights Animation

In the comics, T'Challa, is the chief of the Panther Tribe of the advanced African nation of Wakanda. In the mythology, Black Panther and the X-Men's Storm had an on-and-off again relationship, which led to an annulled marriage. He plays a pivotal part in the Civil War crossover event, which Captain America 3, will be based on.

4) He Can Sing

This actor has the lungs to belt out a song. Check out the Get On Up star performing the James Brown classic, It's a Man's World.

3) 42

As Jackie Robinson, Boseman embodies the legendary baseball player, playing him as both a historic figure and a flawed human being. This is a riveting performance, which definitely got the attention of Marvel executives. Definitely worth watching if you haven't seen it yet.

2) That's How You make An Entrance

When you've got Captain America and Iron Man welcoming you to the team, that's how you know Black Panther isn't going to be somebody's sidekick. Evans and Downey are going to have to do more than just their A-game when Boseman shows up in a scene.

1)He Can Hold His Own In A Fight

The Black Panther shows up on Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes animated series. If this is the Black Panther taking down the Avengers in a cartoon, imagine what Boseman will do in a live-action movie.

Captain America: Civil War is scheduled for May 6, 2016. Readers, what do you think of Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther?
