During a special presentation in Hollywood, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige made an epic announcement unveiling a list of their upcoming superhero flicks. From Natalie Dormer to Katee Sackhoff, moviegoers are already picking out names for the first female-led film from Marvel, Captain Marvel, starring Carol Danvers.

As we mentioned before, Captain Marvel is just part of the lineup, which already includes Black Panther and Captain America: Civil War. In the Marvel Universe, Captain Marvel is a super heroine with cosmic powers. To continue the excitement, which started over on Twitter, here are 5 actresses from our dream cast who would be perfect as Carol Danvers.

5) Yvonne Strahovski

We loved the 24: Live Another Day actress as the no-nonsense Kate Morgan. Holding her own with Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), we saw her take down the bad guys in fistfights and shootouts.

4) Jennifer Lawrence

We have no problem throwing the X-Men: Days of Future Past starlet into another Marvel franchise. Already on a winning streak as Katniss, we can't wait for Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 to hit the big screen on November 21.

Already a scream queen in her own right, thanks to Zombieland and The Ward, let's give The Rum Diary stunner a sci-fi movie of her own to star in.

Before she took on Jack Bauer as a baddie on 24, Sackhoff got audience's attention with her breakout role on the Battlestar Galactica remake. We were definitely excited to see Lt. Kara "Starbuck" Thrace fighting against the the Cylons. Let's not forget how awesome she was in Riddick.
