Hot 97 posted some behind the scenes footage from the new Sean John campaign called "Dream Big." The video features acts like DJ Mustard, Troy Ave, Christopher B., Terrence J, John Wall and more sharing their thoughts on the brand while shooting for the new ad campaign.
Rapper Troy Ave, who hails from Brooklyn, says Sean John means a lot. "[Sean John] is like one of the premiere brands in fashion. It started from hip-hop/rap, and that's what I'm into."
Musician, TV personality and CEO of clothing line, Big Man Network, Christopher B. is best known for his role in MTV's Rob and Big. Being big and tall, Christopher appreciates Sean John for catering to men of his size.
"I've been buying Sean John myself, since it came out. Me, being a big guy, I like this brand because of the passion they have for big and tall guys. Sean John is a brand that makes big men look good and that's why I like it."
DJ Mustard also shares his views on the brand. According to Global Grind, he said: "I grew up on Sean John. Diddy is Diddy, that's Puff Daddy, so when they called me and told me they wanted me to be a part of it I was like, 'I'm down.' Because it's big, I came from nothing..."
President of Sean John, Jeffrey Tweedy, explains how the campaign came about. "The Dream Big campaign, which actually started last season, was something that we wanted to come up with that would motivate people's thought process. Dream Big is an opportunity that everyone has to be able to realize that moment and realize your dream and wake up and do it, is what Mr. Combs always says."
