Da Internz, who produced Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda,” claims their friend Eric Bellinger is delusional for telling the media he contributed to the hit music track.
“He didn't write any of Nicki's lyrics,” Internz’ member Kosine on Da Beat told HipHollywood in an exclusive interview. “That’s still our friend, I still love him, I still support his career, but I just think it’s a bad decision to run out in front of a song and nobody can really save him.”
Eric claimed during a recent interview with MTV that he co-produced “Anaconda,” which resulted in Nicki slamming him on Twitter.
"There are only 2 producers on #Anaconda ~ Polow Da Don & Da Internz. No one else should be out here doing interviews about it. #ThirstyAss," Nicki shared on Twitter.
Bellinger responded, via Instagram:
"As a vet in this writing game I know how political credit can be on records as well as production. I'm no stranger to how it goes. It's very common in this game to get caught in pub wars as any other of your favorite writer artist or producers can vouch for, but I can assure all of my fans by no means have I misled them."
He added, "Unfortunately questions in a released interview that was set for my latest video I was working on has turned what looks like would have been an internal battle into a public one. However I am not regretful of anything because my people in that room and God knows what I contributed and hopefully I will receive my due credit. I appreciate your love, trust and support as I continue my journey."
Kosine revealed to the site, that while Eric was invited to join them during a recording session with the eccentric rapper, Bellinger made no contribution to the song.
