Modern Family favorite, Cam (Eric Stonestreet) is not only a fan of sports on the hit series, but also in real life! The actor has recently been tweeting during the World Series, KC Royal v. San Francisco Giants games, even giving the OK for Royal fans to DVR the Halloween episode of Modern Family airing around the same time as the final game on Wednesday October 29.
"I give fans in the Kansas City area a permission slip to dvr the new Modern Family tomorrow night," the actor tweeted yesterday during the best out of seven World Series games. "Everyone else still must watch it live.'

The Royals and Giants will be battling it out in game seven to determine who will walk away the 2014 World Series champions. However, things aren't looking up for the Modern Family star, who was born in Kansas City, Kansas. According to ESPN, the SF Giants was routed 10-0 in Game six Tuesday night. Note that it's been 35 years since a visiting team has won Game 7 in the World Series.
But Stonestreet doesn't give up hope and love for his team. "I wish I could be there tonight in Kansas City with you. With just you. In the blue. No. Not you. YOU. In the @Royals hat. Not you sir! You."
Tonight, a new episode of Modern Family will adventure on with the cast during their Halloween episode. Phil turns the house into "Awesome Land" while Gloria (Sofia Vergara) choses Princess Fiona and Shrek costumes for her and Jay (Ed O'Neil).
