Below Deck co-stars and siblings Amy and younger brother Kelley Johnson opened up to Wetpaint today (October 29) about their time spent on the drama infested boat.
"For me, [the cast] already had this established relationship so they were really in tune — especially with Captain Lee," Amy said. "When your leader already feels the vibe with those three, it was kind of like odd man out and [I had] to prove that I can earn his respect."
Other cast members of the second season of Bravo's reality series — which has been renewed for a third season — included Chef Ben Robinson, who is known for his witty personality and overzealous way of showing his feelings, Kat, who is known for gossiping, Kate Chastain who is known for her "bitchy resting face," Jennice Ontiveros, Kelley's boating love interest and new timer Logan Reese.

Kelley, unlike his sister, enjoyed the relationships that were previously formed on the ship before he arrived. "I don't think it was too hard on my part. It was also really helpful at the same time, because they would give us tidbits of helpful information," explained Kelley. "It was easier on us because they had already experienced it."
Below Deck premiered its first show on July 1, 2013 and chronicles the lives of crewmembers working aboard a mega-yacht chartered to various guests.
Amy was not for all the drama aboard the ship. "It was so intense and the venom I was feeling from the interior team — I didn't know how to handle it," as RealityTea reported. "I don't normally not get along with people like that, so it was a crazy experience."
