Thursday, Safaree tweeted that he already heard the flirtatious "Only" track when it was recorded and denies jealousy rumors of Lil Wayne and Drake despite their steamy lyrics lusting over the female rapper.
"You do know I was there when "only" was recorded and received right? That song is new to yall not me... give it a rest ppl. Months old," he tweeted.
Safaree seems to still be supportive of the "Anaconda" rapper after he tweeted for fans to check out the star's latest track featuring Lil Wayne, Drake and Chris Brown, "#ONLYOniTunes.
According to TMZ, Safaree and the "Anaconda" rapper have been arguing over Safaree's jealously over her success and allegedly doesn't want to remain in the background as she continues to be the breadwinner.
The couple have been together for 14-years romantically and professionally and now their relationship may be in shambles after he ditched her concert, leaving her to find a last minute hype-man.
In March, the rapper's rumored boyfriend got Minaj's name with stars around it tattooed on his chest to complement her face tattoo across from it.
The hype man had as many as three tattoos dedicated to Minaj on his body and notably his second tattoo of the 31-year-old's face.
Recently, the couple's troubled relationship made news after photos of his tattoos of Nicki on his chest appeared covered with new art work.
