Kris Jenner Reveals All Of Her Kids Were Chubby At One Point In Their Lives Including Rob Kardashian

Kris Jenner has always been a fan of telling it like it is and when she stopped by The Dr. Oz Show, she did just that. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed that all of her children went through a chubby phase, not just son Rob Kardashian.

The head of the Kardashian and Jenner family believes that all of her children need self-esteem to survive the industry they are in. That being said, she is proud of everything they do, but she revealed she always taught them that they are like all other people.

"They were just like other kids," Kris told Dr. Oz on Wednesday. "Where it was that real chubby stage. Everybody went through it. They had braces, they were awkward. Rob was chubby and that's when kids need you the most."

The 58-year-old star opened up saying that even though they are successful now, she has always told her children that self-esteem is something everyone should have.

"Putting the girls and Rob, now, on magazines definitely sells them, but I taught the kids a long time ago that it starts with when they were younger. I've tried hard to raise strong daughters and give them a sense of self-esteem," she said on the show.

In regards to Rob's weight gain, which has kept him from appearing on the reality series during the last season and from attending his sister Kim's wedding, he has been working really hard to get into shape. "He's getting it done. He works hard, and I love having him in here. He's no stranger to the grind," Rob's trainer Gunnar Peterson told Us Weekly in June.

While Kris was promoting her new cookbook, In the Kitchen With Kris on The Dr. Oz Show, she also revealed that when she got her boob job, her confidence increased drastically. "I had these four beautiful kids. From the waist up, it was not pretty. I had a boob job... and it made me feel like a million bucks," Kris explained.
