In honor of Happy Halloween 2014, let's celebrate the tricks and treats with the scariest viral sensation on the web. Check out how the Skull Trumpet makes its spooky entrance in these hilarious mashups with Jay-Z and 3OH!3.

What started out as the internet's spookiest meme quickly turned into music mash-up item. It's just an disembodied skull holding a trumpet. In a minimalist style, we the the two hovering in front of a black background. The horn plays two notes, Doot-Doot, and we're done.

According to Gawker, the Skull Trumpet kept showing up on YouTube, Tumblr, 4chan, and Reddit in various forms since 2011. Because of the spookiest holiday, this is when the Skull Trumpet starts to shine and YouTube users have their fun. Hving built a following, you can find more videos on its official Facebook page.

If you can name a recent popular song, Skull Trumpet is there to make its mark on the cultural phenomenon. A few times, the visuals have been enhanced, adding more to its signature two-note bust. Skull Trumpet has even performed with a live orchestra and a packed crowd.

Though we don't hear any of the lyrics to Jay-Z's Ni**as In Paris, the Skull Trumpet plays the horns to the pumping beat of the music. Notice how their are two images flashing, one with a mustache and the other one doesn't have the strip of hair.

And then there's the mash-up with the electronic rock group 3OH!3 and their song, Starstrukk. This time, we do hear the lyrics "Nice legs Daisy Duke, Makes a man go..." followed by Doot-Doot.
