It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Toronto Maple Leafs battle it out on the ice against the Columbus Blue Jackets in Week 3 of the regular season on Friday, October 31st at 7:00 p.m. EST at the Nationwide Arena in Ohio. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Halloween night hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Maple Leafs snag the No. 25 spot in Scott Burnside's official power ranking round-up for ESPN.com with a 4-4-1 record:
"The Leafs are just 1-4 at home, and getting waxed Saturday at Air Canada Centre by the arch-nemesis Bruins does nothing to improve the mood in Leafs Nation."
Meanwhile, the Blue Jackets currently hold the No. 23 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 4-4-0 record:
"The Blue Jackets were outscored 9-3 by the Ducks and Kings this past weekend and have lost three of four. Nick Foligno left Sunday's game on a stretcher after his head rammed into a referee's elbow in a freak accident, but initial reports indicated the injury wasn't serious."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels RSN and FSOH, but fans can also listen in on the radio at CHML, AM 640, WFIN, WBNS.
