With the first season currently underway, two super villains from the DC Comics Universe are about to show up on the CW's The Flash. Will Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell become an unstoppable "force-of-nature" against Grant Gustin's Barry Allen?

In our previous recap, we witnessed the origin story of how Barry (Gustin) ended up with his super-speed powers. Due to a particle accelerator explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs, lightning struck Barry and threw him into a vat of chemicals. Not only did Barry end up with powers, half of the civilian population of Central City became metahumans.

From our latest recap, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Barry both ended up on an awkward double date with Iris West (Candice Patton) and Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett). Before Felicity and Barry could rekindle their romance, things went awry when Leonard Snart (Miller) shows up. Leonard stole a freeze ray, which Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) invented as an emergency weapon in case Barry went evil.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Prison Break actor talks about reuniting with his co-star. Miller explains how Purcell's name popped up, "As soon as they described the character to me I thought of Dom. 'Unpredictable, force-of-nature, a little rough-and-tumble....' But I never dreamed it would actually come together. And I'm so glad it did."

During the episode's closing minutes, Captain Cold is talking an unseen old acquaintance named Mick (Purcell) about teaming up against the Flash. In the comics, Mick Rory is a pyromaniac known as Heatwave. The two super villains are expected to show up in the tenth episode.

The Stoker screenwriter continues, "As men, we couldn't be more different. But he gets me and I get him. And that's true of our characters as well. What I would have had to generate from nothing with another actor - history, intimacy - Dom and I already had the moment they yelled 'action.'"

The Flash continues on the CW Tuesdays at 8pm. Readers, are you excited to see a Prison Break Union?
