Jessa Duggar seems to be one of the Duggar daughters who speaks her mind and knows what she wants.
Now that she's Mrs. Ben Seewald, the 19 Kids and Counting star took her 1,000 guests for a surprise when she and her new husband, Ben Seewald changed wedding traditions.
We previously learned that the newlyweds wrote their own wedding vows and, according to People, they decided to save their first kiss until they were husband and wife in private. Jessa and Ben did not kiss at their wedding ceremony.
The fall weekend wedding ceremony was officiated by Pastor Mike Schadt as he noted:
"They wanted their very first kiss ever to be in private," Schadt adds. "It was important to the both of them."
The witnesses at the wedding were taken by surprise, as the Pastor asked Jessa's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, to show the crowd an example of a kiss.
"So, now you've seen a Duggar kiss," Schadt said to the wedding guests.

After Ben and Jessa spent some time alone as a married couple and had their first kiss, they continued their kisses during their reception, where wedding guests were in for another surprise.
A traditional wedding cake was missing! Mr. and Mrs. Seewald chose to have ice cream sundaes instead. The wedding treats included brownies, ice cream and a number of toppings including chocolate, caramel, candy and cookies.
"I don't really like cake," Jessa, 21, claims. "We wanted ice cream sundaes instead."
The couple's special ice cream flavors for their own treat included mint chocolate chip for Ben, 19, and chocolate for his new wife.
The third shocking wedding surprise was Jessa's wedding gown. Her blush gown, bought at Tesori Bridal in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and designed by Allure Bridal, was nothing like her older sister Jill Dillard's traditional lace white gown.

Jessa's beautiful gown included a full beaded bodice of Swarovski crystals and pearls. Jessa removed some tulle from her gown so it would fall in place to her liking.
"It was the second dress I tried on," Jessa said. "I love it."
Tesori Bridal co-owners Lindsey Stavely and Erin Bridges revealed that the dress Jessa chose was perfect.
"We didn't know if she would like it because it wasn't the traditional white," Stavely shared, as Bridges said, "She kept coming back to this dress and all her sisters were like, 'The second one, the second one,' so everyone agreed."
At the end of the wedding reception, the newlyweds were seen off by the cheering crowd as they blew bubbles and watched Jessa and Ben leave in a horse-drawn carriage.
