Now that Halloween has passed, it's officially November and USA Network will premiere the upcoming final season 6 of White Collar. In just a few days, leading men Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay will say goodbye to their buddy/crime caper series with the last six episodes.
As we previously mentioned, the stylish procedural/buddy drama centers on the dynamic relationship between the cunning FBI agent Peter Burke (DeKay) and the smooth con artist Neal Caffrey (Bomer). In order to be released from prison, Neal works alongside Burke as a criminal informant as they solve cases side-by-side. Unfortunately, Neal walks a fine line between rehabilitation and incarceration as he dreams about pulling off one last con.
Here are five reasons why we want to see White Collar's Season 6:
1) What Happened To Neal?
In the fifth season cliffhanger, Neal was on the outside when a black bag was put over his head. Though he was kidnapped against his will, Peter will question Neal's whereabouts because of tracking anklet removed. Will the FBI agent have to hunt down the ex-fugitive, just like he did years ago?
2) Father And Son
We also mentioned that our leading men will play "father and son" in the upcoming season. It's an interesting dynamic change in the second episode, which we are sure both stars will knock it out of the park.
3) Where's Elizabeth In All This?
Peter's wife Elizabeth Burke (Tiffani Thiessen) went to D.C. all by herself by the end of last season. When the season opens, Peter and Elizabeth will have to deal with a dedicated long-distance relationship. We hope she returns to the fold soon, especially with this being the final season and all.
4) Clinton, Mozzie and Diana
The best group of supporting characters any show can ask for. Sharif Atkins, Marsha Thomason, and Willie Garson are just phenomenal when it comes to bringing in the witty humor.
5) The Chemistry
The show wouldn't have worked if it wasn't for the charisma and presence of these two leading men. Bomer and DeKay knew how to work off of each other, bounce off ideas, and bring wit to the dialogue. Let's hope this isn't the last time they work together.
The final season of White Collar begins November 6 at 9pm on USA. Readers, are you excited to see Peter and Neal's last con together?
