Jose Mourinho and Eden Hazard look set to seal their Premier League title before Christmas, with Chelsea setting an almost untouchable pace at the top, but they have other things they're trying to deal with. Jose has hit out at his own fans, saying it's like his team are playing "in an empty stadium." On top of that, Hazard has embarrassed himself and his team, referring to mid-week opponents Shrewsbury Town as "Strawberry Town" by mistake, but then again, if this is as bad as it gets, Chelsea won't complain, right?
According to the BBC, after winning yet another match in front of nearly 42,000 fans, was Jose happy? Apparently not. He hit out, saying, "At this moment it's difficult to play at home because playing here is like playing in an empty stadium. When we scored was when I realised, 'Whoa, the stadium is full. Good.' The team then starts playing like it's quiet, soft game at home. I was looking around and it was empty, but not in terms of people because it was obviously full. That's what is frustrating. Everyone knows how much I feel connected to this club and the fans."
Does Jose have a point, according to the Telegraph, or are Chelsea's fans simply too complacent at their rampant EPL start? The Blues have yet to lose, barely having dropped a single point. Some believe Chelsea hasn't hit anywhere near their best yet, which is scary for the opposite teams, considering they're several points adrift of their rival teams.
Should Chelsea's fans make more noise, or is it tough to get motivated when they know they're clearly the best team by a million miles this season?
