Vanessa And Nick Lachey Celebrate Their Second Baby At A Beautiful Baby Shower

Vanessa Lachey and husband Nick Lachey celebrated the upcoming arrival of their second child together with a beautiful baby shower on Saturday. The couple already have a son together, Camden, who is two-years-old.

"Today was a good day! The perfect 'sprinkle of love,'" Vanessa wrote with a picture of her and Nick at the shower. The picture shows the happy couple posing together as Nick holds Vanessa's baby bump.

The event took place on Nov.1, at an outdoor party. There was a gorgeous pink-tiered cake and tasty looking cupcakes with pink frosting to celebrate the couple's baby girl. Vanessa and Nick announced their baby news in July through a picture.

"Can't think of a better way to celebrate 3 years of marriage to my beautiful Vanessa than this #family," Nick wrote on Twitter. In the sand he wrote, "It's a girl," announcing that their son was going to be a big brother and they were going to be parents again.

In February the 98 Degrees singer revealed he wanted a daughter someday and now he will finally get his wish. "I do want a girl. I think there's something emotional about having a daughter that I definitely want to experience," the 40-year-old singer told People.

"Maybe I'll get one more boy under my belt first. I'll need some help to keep her in line, so a couple of brothers couldn't hurt," he added.

The growing family celebrated their son's second birthday in September with a construction themed party, which had lots of red. "Cam's construction themed birthday party this past weekend was soooo fun!" Vanessa wrote on her Instagram account. "I wanted some color instead of the typical black, yellow orange and brown. So here's what we came up with. I LOVE the pop of color!"

The trio also enjoyed their last Halloween this weekend as just the three of them by dressing up as characters from Peter Pan. Nick went as Peter Pan, Vanessa was Captain Hook and Camden was the crocodile!
