Rita Ora has revealed that she had a "wonderful" romance with Bruno Mars before the pair found fame.
The 21-year-old singer confessed in an interview with German magazine Bravo. "It was love at first sight," she said.
The RIP hitmaker said that the couple's relationship developed when she worked with the Grenade singer in the studio after being signed by Roc Nation.
"We met in 2009. I was 18 and starting out at Roc Nation. Bruno was unknown back then too," she told the publication.
"He was a struggling songwriter hired to write songs for me. I thought, 'Wow, that's just the world's greatest guy!'"
"It was love at first sight, such a great experience."
Despite being "so happy", the singer revealed that it wasn't to last and they eventually split because of work commitments.
"Our time together was wonderful, but once we got famous, work got in the way. We ended it last year. But we remained close."
Ora's revelation comes days after she was forced to deny reports that she was dating Kim Kardashian's younger brother, Rob.
The pair have been romantically linked since the reality star declared his love for the singer on Twitter.
Speaking to GLAMOUR.com, she said: "[The rumours I'm dating Rob] are not true, but we're good friends. Really... Like, we're tight."
